How a YouTube Video Sparked Our Foam Crafting Journey

Every journey starts somwhere
Our foam crafting adventure began with a YouTube scroll. I remember sitting on a sofa one day and just searching for something to watch online. It's been around 14 or 15 years, so I can't be 100% sure, but it must have been a video by either Bill Doran from Punished Props or EvilTedSmith (both are huge inspiration till this very day).
Up until that point EVA foam crafting and prop-making was something we have little knowledge of, like something that only professional can pull of, but watching this one YouTube tutorial spark interested and a question: could we actually make something like this?
It wasn't long before curiosity turned into shopping and gathering the very basic tools to give it a try. And that’s how our foam crafting adventure officially began.
But let me tell you… that first project? It was humbling in the best way possible. More on that next time.
