WHAT IS INCLUDED

This is my gift to You—a super beginner-friendly guidebook filled with helpful information on EVA foam crafting. It explains proper steps and techniques and answers the most common questions a person may have about building with EVA foam. I am currently writing the next version of this book, so there is a chance that next time you purchase one of my patterns, there will be even more pages!
SIZE & FIT
All my DIY helmet patterns are designed to fit an average adult person, with a head circumference of approximately 57-59cm or 21-22in at 100% printing scale. But don’t worry—the PDF file includes a super handy and easy-to-read scaling chart. This chart allows you to adjust the size of the pattern to fit a smaller or larger head size by simply increasing or decreasing the printing scale.
EVA FOAM THICKNESS & QUANTITIES
To successfully build this project you will need:
– 8mm EVA foam: 55x60cm
– 6mm EVA foam: 35x60cm
Please keep in mind that the quantities above are the very minimum to craft just 1x helmet at standard size (100% printing scale). I highly recommend getting more foam – just to have extra material in case of any cutting mistakes or adjustments when crafting.

The good news is that the assembly process is very similar across all the projects – so make sure to check my YouTube channel and watch videos on other, similar projects, learn how to adjust the printing scale for your head size, how to apply contact cement glue and many more that will help you with your build. SKILLS LEVEL
Beginner – this is a perfect project if you have never crafted with EVA foam and just starting your foam-smithing adventure. Very simple to cut and assemble – just a bit of patience and practice and you will make it in no time! If you have any questions or problems – please don’t hesitate to message me!
Intermedia – some previous EVA foam crafting experience is highly recommended. This project might require cutting some parts’ edges at a specific angle and the assembly is a bit more complex, so make sure to check twice before you cut and refer to the assembly instructions. If you have questions – please message me, always happy to help and advise!
Advance – I hope you are an experienced foam smith, as this pattern will challenge your crafting skills and precision at every step. This project requires numerous cutting edges at various angles, and the assembly process will test your patience and gluing skills. Advanced foam crafting techniques are a must! But don’t worry – if you are stuck, or unsure: message me, and will do my best to help and advise.
Expert – this pattern is for professional-level foam crafting maniacs! Perfect if you want a true challenge and test your skills. Fill with complex edge-cutting and intricate assembly at every step.
